Dr. Ben Lickteig earned his undergrad education at Northern State University in Aberdeen, SD. Upon receiving his Bachelor’s Degree, he went on to serve as an active duty Officer for six years in the United States Marine Corps.
It was seeing the effects of chronic pain on his Marines and their growing dependance on pain medications that Dr. Ben’s aspiration to understand and help solve the issues associated with chronic pain first began.
While completing his Doctorate of Chiropractic at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, he still felt there was something missing in his aspiration to help those specifically struggling with chronic pain. Although traditional chiropractic methods provided relief for acute pain, they often didn’t provide a permanent solution.
This lead Dr. Ben to begin training in Adhesion Release Methods (ARM)— the most advanced, conservative-care diagnosis & treatment system for chronic pain in the world. It was through this training, that he found what was missing — the means to provide a specific diagnosis, treatment, & resolution to those suffering with chronic pain.
He continues to consult with doctors worldwide on complicated cases with regards to diagnosis, treatment, and case management & is grateful to have found ARM and to be in the challenging and rewarding field of chronic pain.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Ben enjoys family life with his wife, Kelly, & their 6 children, being an active member in their Catholic Church, & cheering on the Red Sox.
